Green Leaf Plumbing and Contracting is a trusted, family-run business that has been providing the Kitchener/Waterloo and surrounding areas with expert renovation and plumbing services since 2020.
We are unique in that we operate as both full-service renovation contractors and full-service plumbing contractors, serving both residential and commercial clients. This dual expertise allows us to manage everything from a minor plumbing fix to a complete home transformation.
Our team, which includes owner/operator Jamie Yip, his wife Hannah, and her brother Michael, is dedicated to converting your old, outdated, or non-functional spaces into areas that exceed your expectations for quality, aesthetics, and functionality. We pride ourselves on offering quality craftsmanship, cleanliness, efficiency and reliability, and always providing excellent customer service – all while working to accommodate projects of all sizes and budgets.

The People
Jamie Yip
Jamie is a unique character in the construction world. Having moved to Kitchener/Waterloo from Toronto in 2003 to attend the University of Waterloo, Jamie first started his university career studying Computer Engineering. After realizing that career path wasn’t for him, he switched majors and completed a Bachelor of Science degree as well as a Master of Science degree in Polymer Chemistry. After completing all of this schooling, he found that his true passion was in building and renovating homes. He started his career in remodeling in 2010 before deciding to complete his plumbing apprenticeship from 2015 – 2020 and receiving master plumber status in January of 2020. After working for a couple more years in the trade, he decided to venture on his own and started Green Leaf Plumbing and Contracting in the winter of 2020. Since then he has been working hard to help customers design and build their perfect spaces and has been loving every minute of it!
